Reserving Your Adventure Tour To book a tour Out For Adventure Wilderness Tours requires a deposit of $250 ($185 US Approx) per person with the balance due 60 days prior to tour departure for multi-day tours. For lessons, clinics and day tours full payment is due upon booking. If booking within 60 days of a tour date we require full payment of the tour cost. As required, there is an additional 5% GST (Goods & Services Tax) tour cost on any tours that do not state that tax is included. Tour costs are quoted in Canadian and approximate US dollars, which will be credited at the current exchange rate. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Certified Cheque, Traveler's Cheque and Money Orders. Cancellation Policy Out For Adventure reserves the right to alter itineraries or to cancel scheduled tours for reasons including and not limited to, insufficient bookings, logistical problems that may obstruct tour operations or adverse weather. Should we have to cancel a tour due to insufficient bookings we will do so at least 14 days prior to the departure date. In the event of a cancellation by Out For Adventure, we may be able to offer alternative arrangements, such as a different tour or date. If this is not acceptable we will refund all monies paid, but will not be liable for any other losses incurred such as accommodations, airline tickets, equipment purchased, credit card fees, etc. If it is necessary for you to cancel your tour reservation/s, we require that you do so in writing to avoid confusion. After receiving your written request to cancel, we will refund your payment according to the following schedule. Refund Schedule For Multi-day Tours
More than 60 days prior to departure, full refund less deposit.
60 to 30 days prior to departure, full refund less 50% of the total tours cost or deposit paid, whichever is greater.
29 - 15 days prior to departure, Full refund less 75% of the total tour cost.
14 days or less prior to departure, no refund. Please Note On any cancelled tour, if we can fill the seat you have cancelled, we will reimburse all monies you have paid to us for your cancelled trip less a $75.00 administration fee. Cancellation Insurance We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance should it become necessary for you to cancel your trip. You can purchase this at your local travel agency right after booking your tour. | 
Medical & Liability Release forms Out For Adventure requires that your medical form and liability release be filled out and returned as soon as possible. You will receive these forms with your Out For Adventure Welcome Package. All information received will be kept in complete confidentiality and only released to your guide unless required for medical attention by appropriate health officials in the unlikely event of an incident or emergency.
Getting Here & Accommodations
See our Getting Here page on our website. Detailed information on getting to your chosen tour destination will be included with your Out For Adventure Welcome Package. A list of suggested accommodations for before and after your adventure tour will also be with your Out For Adventure Welcome Package. There are some wonderful local B&B's, hostels, motels etc., so look in the "accommodation" section of your Welcome Package. If you can, plan to have a few days before or after your tour to explore the interesting areas our tours are offered in. Itinerary Changes As on any outdoor adventure vacation, the traveler needs to acknowledge and accept the fact that we are subject to the whims of nature and/or other circumstances, and as such may have to change details or routes of our itinerary to accommodate our dynamic environment. Cancellation Policy for Custom Tours If you are creating your own custom tour the above cancellation policy does not apply. Please contact our office for details. Changing Your Tour Date Should you feel it necessary to change your tour date after completing your reservation, you must contact our office in writing with your proposed changes. All tour costs and taxes are non-refundable but they may be used as a credit. Additional charges will apply for higher priced trips. Credits expire after one year. All accepted and approved date changes will be subject to a $75 administration fee - per person. Refund Schedule For Rentals and Day Tours
