Our Pure Orca trip is organized using environmentally sensitive principals. This trip operates without the use of a water taxi. In this day of environmental concerns we feel that water taxi use should be kept to a minimum and never be in excess of 35 minutes. Water taxi's use tremendous amounts of fuel, and as such are extreamly ineffecient modes of transportation.
Pure Orca uses NO WATER TAXI!, Local produce served in meals, to reduce shipping and handling for our environment.

Out For Adventure designs all our trips using a model of Experiential Adventures. All of our adventures are planned in detail to include our "OFA Interpretive Modules" or OIM. These modules are designed to ensure that you get the most from your trip through your guides unique training in natural interpretation and presentation skills coupled with OFA's OIM system.

All of our trips are designed to run as adventures, not tours. This means that they are flexible in itinerary to accommodate spontaneous changes in our dynamic environment to account for weather, animal sightings or kicking back on the beach. A real adventure, not a carnival ride.

Today we can not be too careful in the handling and storage of our food. Our systems have been thoroughly researched for safe food storage and handling and all of Out For Adventures guides are FoodSafe certified for your safety and comfort.

Company policy dictates that our food is sourced locally first and then on the shortest distance shipped. Out For Adventure has a dedicated, in house buyer to supply our trips and ensure that food produced close to the departure point is sought out first.

The staff of Out For Adventure has developed very stringent environmental strategies ,not for commercial exploitation - but for our children and their children, and  in the hope that others will follow suit.
