Our Orca Base Camp has a research quality hydrophone. We also have a Sea kayak mounted model for on the water. Heated Expedition Tent
To date, our base camp is the only one that has a large heated expedition tent for our entire group on cool, windy or wet days. We often gather for meetings or drying out and even have our meals inside if the weather is not ideal. |

Each of Johnstone Strait Sea kayaking adventures makes the hike up to the research outpost for a glimpse into the life of a remote researcher in a remote camp, perched high atop a cliff overlooking the Robson Bight Ecological Reserve.Paddle & Learn
