Terms and Conditions :: Out For Adventure Wilderness Tours

To book a tour Out For Adventure Wilderness Tours requires a deposit of $250 ($185 US Approx) per person with the balance due 60 days prior to tour departure for multi-day tours. For lessons, clinics and day tours full payment is due upon booking. If booking within 60 days of a tour date we require full payment of the tour cost.

2. Goods & Services Tax (GST)

On tours that do not state that tax is included, an additional 5% GST will be added to your tour cost. As of September 25, 2006 the Canadian government has cancelled the GST refund program for accommodations effective April 1, 2007. For information on this change to the GST Visitor's Rebate Program see http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/tax/nonresidents/visitors/qa-e.html.

3. Provincial Sales Tax (PST)

Rentals are subject to 7% PST as well as the GST.

4. Exchange Rate:

Tour costs are quoted in Canadian funds and approximate US dollars, which will be credited at the current exchange rate. Payment can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express.

5. Not Included in Tour Costs:

Tour costs do not include any applicable taxes, cancellation insurance, personal insurance, air fare, accommodations before & after tour, or gratuities.

6. Cancellation Policy:

Refund Schedule For Multi-day Tours
More than 60 days prior to departure, full refund less deposit.
60 to 30 days prior to departure, full refund less 50% of the total tours cost or deposit paid, whichever is greater.
29 - 15 days prior to departure, Full refund less 75% of the total tour cost.
14 days or less prior to departure, no refund.

Please Note
On any cancelled tour, if we can fill the seat you have cancelled, we will reimburse all monies you have paid to us for your cancelled trip less a $75.00 administration fee.

Cancellation Insurance: We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance should it become necessary for you to cancel your trip. You can purchase this at your local travel agency right after booking your tour.

Refund Schedule For Rentals and Day Tours
More than 30 days prior to departure, full refund less deposit for rentals. Day Tours - 50% of tour cost refunded.
29 - days or less prior to departure, no refund.

7. Medical & Liability Release forms:

We require that your medical form and liability release be filled out and returned to us as soon as possible. You will receive these forms with your Out For Adventure Welcome Package.

8. Canada/USA border crossing:
